| School Leadership
National Heritage Academies (NHA) knows that exceptional schools are the result of exceptional leaders. We are committed to creating an environment that allows exceptional leaders to thrive by providing them with the support, resources and development opportunities necessary to ensure their success and foster their continued professional growth.
NHA expects the principal to be more than just a building administrator. NHA principals are true instructional leaders responsible for: driving their school’s academic program through the use of data, creating a school culture that values and expects exceptional instruction in every classroom, and for holding every member of the school community to high expectations. The role of the principal at NHA is largely defined by the six factors NHA measures to define school success:
1) Academic proficiency
2) Academic growth
3) Building and developing a strong instructional team
4) Effective management of enrollment
5) Effective management of expenses
6) Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
Principals at NHA schools work closely with the NHA Service Center and other NHA principals to leverage common learning, establish best practices and ensure quality delivery on NHA’s brand promise to its customers. Becoming a principal at NHA is like becoming part of a team that shares a single, well articulated vision: To better educate more children . . .
